Mailboxes have been restored. Please note that spam-tagging is not currently set up, so you are probably seeing lots more spam passing yor filters. We will be configuring tagging shortly.

Webmail is now available, and mailboxes are in the process of being restored. Administrative access will be up within a day.

It is now possible to send mail via authenticated SMTP, as well as to receive mail via POP or IMAP. Webmail is not up yet, nor is administration. Saved folders are not yet restored.

POP3 and IMAP access to mail are working as is incoming mail via SMTP. Authenticated sending through mailbox.onlinepolicy.net is not yet working; neither is webmail or web-based email administration. Stored folders will be restored, but they are not yet restored to our server.

The server which has been on loan to OPG for email (not list) services crashed last evening and is being repaired or replaced. Unlike our own crash some months ago, we expect little to no data loss in this case. We hope to have email services restored by this evening.

Since we don't have all user and password information, we have set the passwords to temporary values, both for mail administration and for email send/receive access. If you are a user of email at mail.onlinepolicy.net, plusnet.org or queernet.org, or if you are the administrator/lead user for a domain, contact us at onlinepolicygroup@gmail.com and we will forward to you information about how to access and manage your mail.

Email is currently being accepted instead of deferred for many domains; we are adding others. It is not yet available for pickup. We expect to have mail pickup information later this evening. If your email is hosted at mailbox.onlinepolicy.net, please drop us a note
at onlinepolicygroup@gmail.com. We should be able to re-establish mail service on Saturday, though previous inbox and folder contents, as well as webmail, will not be available immediately.
If your email account is @mail.onlinepolicy.net or @queernet.org or @plusnet.org let us know your name, email address and initial password (which you can change shortly).
If you are the "lead user" for a domain whose email we host, contact us with a list of the addresses in your domain, and we will reestablish them. (If we don't hear from you by the time we are setting up mail on Saturday, we will create a catch-all mailbox for your domain to collect mail temporarily until you can identify the other mailboxes you need. That will unfortunately collect spam, but better to get the mail you want...
